Workflows tab

You can sort and search for workflows in the Workflows area.

You can mark workflows as favorites. You can also save workflow queries to manage and access often used workflows and jobs. Favorites and saved searches are saved on a per user basis.

Workflows has the following tabs:
  • All Workflows: Displays all the workflows you have created.
  • Favorite Workflows: Displays the workflows you have marked as favorites.
    • To select a workflow as a favorite, click the star beside the workflow name.
    • To remove a workflow from the favorites list, clear the star beside the workflow name.
  • Generic Workflows
  • Printer-Specific Workflows
In all the tabs, workflows are listed by Workflow Name, Modules (within the workflow), and Date Created. You can sort by Workflow Name alphabetically, either ascending or descending, and by Date Created, either ascending or descending. You can also search for a workflow or workflows and save the search.
Note: If a Fiery server is unavailable, a warning icon appears in the Modules column. If a workflow includes a substitute Fiery server that is available, the warning icon does not appear.

Using the check boxes beside each workflow name, you can select one or several workflows for the Export Workflows function. For each workflow, you can duplicate, delete, or export.

Note: Workflows can be deleted even if there are associated jobs present in the workflow.

Printer-specific workflows

Printer-specific workflows are supported for Fiery server that use the FS600 and later.

When you install the Fiery JobFlow 2.9, six sample workflows are pre-installed with it. You can edit, duplicate, import, and export sample workflows; however, you cannot delete sample workflows.

The Input Sources and Output location is always the Fiery server.

You can edit, duplicate, delete, import, and export user-created printer specific workflows.

Note:

If a Collect module or Pages module are a part of a printer-specific workflow, then the Output module is editable where you can select a job action and preset.
