Convert

The Convert module is automatically added when you create a workflow. The Convert module allows you to process and convert different file types into Adobe PDF files.

The following file types are supported:

  • BMP
  • GIF
  • Microsoft Excel
  • MJM
  • SVG
  • DCM
  • HEIC
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • PCX
  • TIF
  • DNG
  • JPG
  • Microsoft Publisher
  • PNG
  • TIFF
  • FAX
  • JPEG
  • Microsoft Word
  • PSD
Note:
  • If a job requires a non-PDF dependent workflow, you have the option to delete the Convert module and have the job output in a non-PDF file format.
  • The MJM (JDF Mime) file type is supported on Fiery servers, Fiery Central servers, and Fiery XF servers with the Fiery JDF option enabled. Fiery JobFlow provides logs in case of errors so the skilled user can troubleshoot the issue.
