The Fiery JobFlow workspace

The Fiery JobFlow window displays in a browser.

Fiery JobFlow includes the following components:

  • Workflows tab: Allows you to create new workflows, edit, or delete them. Create a workflow by selecting from the available modules.

  • Jobs tab: Allows you to monitor the progress of your jobs. Two job states are displayed on each pane. For more information about the different job states, see Monitoring jobs.

The Jobs tab also provides a quick view of other job-related information such as workflow name of each job, links to view the job content and job reports.

  • Admin menu: Provides access to administrator tasks: Account settings, Module settings, and Resources.

For information about Fiery JobFlow, click the About link in the lower-left corner of the Fiery JobFlow window. The About Fiery JobFlow window displays the following:
  • Fiery JobFlow version
  • Enfocus PitStop Library version
  • Software Maintenance and Support Agreement (SMSA) status

SMSA status notifications are displayed during the last 30 days of the SMSA validity period on the JobFlow screen and Fiery Software Manager. These notifications are also sent as an email to the user. Click Renew now on the notification to renew the SMSA.

Note: After the SMSA has expired, you can continue to use the current version of Fiery JobFlow but you cannot upgrade to the next version.

If you have the free Fiery JobFlow Base, the browser includes an Upgrade now button. Click this button if you want to upgrade to the licensed version of Fiery JobFlow.

Note:
  • To activate License Activation Code (LAC) from License Activation window, ensure that you have a valid SMSA.
  • To upgrade JobFlow to the next version from Fiery Software Manager, ensure that you have a LAC, and a valid SMSA activated.

Updates to Fiery JobFlow are managed through Fiery Software Manager, which is accessible from an icon on the Windows task bar. The Check for updates icon is located in the upper-right corner in the Fiery Software Manager window.
