Create a benchmark verification schedule to notify press operators when to
conduct a benchmark verification from the EFI ColorGuard desktop application.
You should know:
The Job Property
Preset of the printer you want to use.
Job property presets specify the group
of job properties that will be used for the scheduled benchmark verification. Select
the preset that matches the job properties of the production workflow you want to
verify.

In the EFI ColorGuard application,
do one of the following:
- Navigate to your desired
printer on the Dashboard and click Create
Schedule in the Verification
Schedule pane.
- Navigate to the
Schedules tab by clicking
and then click Create New
Schedule.

Select Benchmark Verification.

In the Name box, type a name for the new schedule.

Select the Device to be included in the benchmark
verification schedule.
- Optional:
Select Automatically verify with the inline measurement
instrument.

Choose the Job properties appropriate for the benchmark
verification schedule.

Select a Tolerance Set.

Select a Patch Set.

Click Next.

Select the time and days for the
benchmark verification to occur.
- Optional:
Under Notifications, click Add
Recipient to send email notifications for verification events,
such as passing or failing verification.
Note: Any email address can
receive notifications.

Click Done.
- Optional:
Click the Request verification icon (
) to request press operators to perform the first verification
for the benchmark schedule from the EFI ColorGuard desktop application.
When the first verification is complete, the benchmark is created. The benchmark is
then used as the color reference for subsequent benchmark verifications.
