Job log columns

The job log columns display different properties or attributes of a printer or a print job.

The following table describes the list of properties or attributes defined in the Job log columns:

Note: Some job log columns may not display any data depending on the type of your printer. Check your printer specification or contact your supplier to confirm if the specified property or attribute is applicable to your printer.

Column name	Description
Job Info
Copies	Total number of requested copies of the job for printing
Size	Size of the printed job in bytes
Job title	Name of the print job
Name	Name of the printer
ID	Identification number of the print job
Print status	Specific print state of a print job on the Fiery server Example: OK, Yes, Printed, Cancel, and so on.
Virtual printer	Logical name of the print queue
User	User name of the currently logged in user on the printer
Status	Status of the print job Example: Printed, Canceled, Completed, Error, and so on.
RIP Seconds	Time taken for ripping the print job Raster Image Processor (RIP) translates the stream of data from a graphics application into a printable, usually high-resolution, bitmapped image ready for output.
Interpreter	File format of the print job Interpreter converts any file to a printable job format such as PS, Adobe PCL, or Adobe PDF formats.
Media
Paper catalog name	Name of the paper catalog
Media usage	Aggregated media usage value of single or mixed media
Media coverage	Aggregated media usage value of single or mixed media
Media name	Media name used for the job Note: A default media name is displayed if paper or media catalog is not selected.
Media size	Size of the media used for printing such as A3, A4, Letter, and so on.
Media waste	Waste media that was not used in printing
Media weight	Weight of the media in grams
Mixed media	Multiple media used for the print job
Layout
Orientation	Orientation of the print job; portrait or landscape
Duplex	Front and back printing
Color
Color mode	Color mode used for a print job; Grayscale, CMYK, or CMYK+.
All ink	All used ink names and its consumption
Ink
Ink used	Total ink consumption of all inks for the print job.
Ink cost	Displays the total cost of the ink used. It is calculated based on the user input from EFI IQ device drill down page.
Finishing
Finishing completed	Time for completing the finishing after printing
Finishing summary	Summary of finishing work
Fold	Describes whether fold finish is enabled for the print job
Perfect bind	Describes whether perfect bind finish is enabled for the print job
Punch	Describes whether punch finish enabled for the print job
Staple	Describes whether staple finish enabled for the print job
Logged on
Time	Displays either print start or end time based on some condition
First page printed time	Timestamp of first page printed
Job creation time	Timestamp of creation of the print job
Creation time	Timestamp of creation of the print job
Print time	Total time taken for printing
Timestamp
Timestamp done printing	Timestamp when printing was completed
Timestamp done ripping	Timestamp when ripping was completed
Timestamp done spooling	Timestamp when spooling was completed
Timestamp printing	Print start timestamp
Timestamp ripping	Ripping start timestamp
Timestamp spooling	Spooling start timestamp
Timestamp waiting to print	Timestamp since the job was in queue for printing
Timestamp waiting to rip	Timestamp since the job was in queue for ripping
Device
Device	Printer name
Model	Model name of the printer
Server name	Name of the Fiery server
Source application	Name of the client application from which the print job was submitted, such as Webtool, CWS, and so on.
Counter
Total number of black and white pages printed	Number of black and white pages printed for the job
Total number of color pages printed	Number of color pages printed for the job
Total number of sheets printed	Number of sheets printed for the job
Total number of blank pages printed	Number of blank pages printed for the job
B&W pages	Number of black and white pages
B&W pages on color	Number of black and white pages printed on a color printer
Number of pages printed	Number of pages printed for the job
Number of copies of job printed	Number of coipes printed for the job
Number of black and white pages	Number of black and white pages
Number of color pages	Number of color pages
Others
Coverage area	Fiery: Aggregated media usage value of single or mixed media IJS: Printed Area of the job
Used area	Fiery: Aggregated media usage value of single or mixed media IJS: Printed Area of the job
Notes 1	First job note added while creating the print job
Notes 2	Second job note added while creating the print job
Instructions	Instructions provided for the operator while creating the print job
