Share the workspace settings

You can share your workspace settings with other users only after backing up your settings to the Fiery IQ cloud.

  1. In the Preferences window, under Workspace, click Share.
  2. In the Share workspace settings window, do the following:
    1. In the Name your workspace field, type a name for the workspace you want to share with other users.
    2. In the Description field, type a description for the workspace.
  3. Click Share.
  4. If the sharing was successful, you can invite users to create a Fiery Account and use the workspace settings you shared. Users with a Fiery Account can restore the shared workspace settings from the Fiery IQ cloud.
  5. In the Invite users window, do the following:
    1. Type the user’s email address.
    2. Choose Admin or Operator role for the user.

      A user with the Operator role can share workspace settings in Command WorkStation, but will not be able to invite other users. Also, a user with the operator role will not have access to the Fiery IQ Admin console in iq.fiery.com.

      A user with the Admin role can invite users to use the shared workspace settings.

    3. Click Add.

    An invitation is sent to the specified email address.

    In the Invite users window, Your team members section shows the following:

    • Status of the invitation and the user's role
    • Details of the existing Fiery IQ users connected to the same printer with the administrator role
  6. Click Done.
