Nesting layout options in Job Editor
By default, jobs are arranged in the most space-saving manner. By overriding the default settings, you can prevent job rotation, and arrange jobs to facilitate cutting after printing.
- Click the Layout tab to expand the Nesting panel.
The following table describes the options in the
Nesting panel for arrangement of the parent job:

| Cut Edges Horizontally | Arranges jobs so media can be cut horizontally | |
| Cut Edges Vertically | Arranges jobs so media can be cut vertically | |
| Cut Edges Horizontally and Vertically | Arranges jobs so media can be cut both vertically and horizontally | |
| Orientation | Automatic | Arranges jobs in any orientation to make maximum use of the media |
| Portrait | Arranges jobs in portrait orientation | |
| Landscape | Arranges jobs in landscape orientation | |
| Maintain Orientation | Maintains the orientation of the source jobs | |
| Uniform Scaling | On/Off (check box) On enables Width/Height fields |

| Spacing | Width/Height fields | Defines a horizontal and vertical distance between jobs |
Options are available for the child jobs and their clones in the Child Job Information panel and toolbar. You can also select settings from the transformation toolbar.
