Status messages

Status messages may be about the Fiery server or press. The messages are as follows:

Idle

Fiery server or press is idle.

Busy

Fiery server is processing a job.

Printing

Fiery server is printing a job.

Canceling

Fiery server is canceling a job.

Sleep

Press is in Sleep mode.

Low Power

Press is in Low Power mode.

Calibration

Press is performing calibration.

Maintenance Required

Scheduled press maintenance is required.

Warming Up

Press is warming up after waking from sleep or low power mode.

Error messages

Error messages are very important messages about issues that impact both the Fiery server and the press and prevent jobs from printing (for example, a paper jam). If multiple errors occur simultaneously, the most critical error appears first. After the first error is resolved, the next error appears.

The following are examples of error messages that may appear:

• Check press power and cable connections
• Press serial communications lost
• Printing suspended
• Check your network connection
• Check your gateway/router configuration
• Unstable connection. Check your network environment
