Align a placeholder job on the sheet in Template Manager

You can align a placeholder job to the sheet edge, or you can reposition a placeholder job by adding margins, by typing x/y coordinates, or by dragging.

By default, the placeholder job is positioned in the top, left-hand corner of the sheet, while taking the printer margins into account.

  1. On the toolbar, select the Transform Job tool.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • On the toolbar, under Position, type x/y coordinates for the top, left-hand corner of the page.

By default, Template Manager displays the x/y coordinates of the printer’s non-printable left and top margins. You can make Template Manager ignore the printer margins by typing x/y values of “0”.

    • On the toolbar, under Align, click a horizontal and vertical alignment type.

    • On the toolbar, under Margin, type a top, bottom, left, or right margin width (step and repeat only).

You can apply identical margins to all four sides by clicking the Link all Margins button, and defining a top margin only.
