Export soft proof to PDF
You can save a soft proof in PDF format for viewing at a different time or location. When you export to PDF, you can select a page range and resolution.
Note: The soft proof does not display the effects of
calibration, which can affect color, and it does not show the color replacement changes applied in
the job.
The resolution of the soft proof can be different from the resolution of the job, since the soft proof is not intended for printing.
- Click .
- Specify the page range. Use commas to separate page numbers or page ranges.
- Select the desired resolution.
- Click OK.
- Type a name for the file. The file type is always PDF.
- Browse to the location where you want to save the file, and click Save.
