Job Editor window
Job Editor allows you to preview and edit your job before printing.
The menu bar provides the following menus:
- File: Options to save, process, and cancel jobs. You can also close Job Editor from this menu.
- Edit:
Options to undo or redo a performed action. Select Measurement
Unit to change the unit of measurement to temporarily override
the default unit of measurement.Note: You can specify the default unit of measurement from .
- View: Options to scale the view of the image. These viewing options also have corresponding icons in the lower-right corner of the window. Settings such as Snap To and Visual Aids that help with job alignment on the substrate are also available.
- Help: Opens the Fiery Command WorkStation Help.
The following tabs are available on the
right of the Job Editor window:
- Job Info: Includes the Job Notes area where job-specific information can be captured.
- Layout: On the Step and Repeat panel, you can create multiple copies (clones) of a job and apply flip, offset, rotate and drop settings to design seamless repeat patterns required in the textile industry.
- Substrate: The Substrate Settings panel allows you to select a job-specific substrate that overrides the setting configured in Job Properties.
- Printer: On the Print Settings panel, you can specify the required number of print copies, a print length, or a print range.
The toolbar provides the following
controls:
- Save: Saves the job with its current settings.
- Transform tool: Activates the scaling, positioning, rotate, flip and margin settings.
- Crop tool: Activates the settings which enable you to select a focal point of an image and remove unwanted space around it.
- Pan tool: Moves the job around the window.
- Zoom tool: Zooms in and out.
- Undo: Cancels/reverts the last performed action.
- Redo: Performs/repeats the last undone action.
The status bar provides the following controls:
- Connected to: Displays the IP address of the connected Fiery server.
- Job Info: Provides a quick view of the details and settings specified for the job.
- Page navigation: Controls to navigate through the pages of the job.
- Scaling options: Scales the view to the required size.
