Tracking modified spot colors
The Status column in the Spot Pro colors pane displays an icon indicating the type of modification applied to a spot color, allowing you to track modified spot colors easily.
Note: Tracking modified spot colors is supported on a Fiery server
with Fiery system software FS800/800 Pro or later.
The Status column will be blank for any unmodified spot colors.
Note: The Status column shows the icon for only
the most recent modification applied to a spot color. For instance, if a spot color is
modified with variations and then optimized, only the Optimized
icon will appear.
The following table describes the icons in the Status
column:
| Icon | Description | |
|---|---|---|
| Variation applied | ![]() |
Indicates variations were applied to the spot color. |
| Single patch | ![]() |
Indicates that the spot color definition came directly from a spectrophotometer reading of a measured sample, rather than from a predefined color library. |
| Manually edited | ![]() |
Indicates a manually edited spot color. |
| Optimized | ![]() |
Indicates an optimized spot color. |
| Aliased | ![]() |
Indicates an aliased spot color. |
