Assign a temporary custom media size to a Media Catalog entry

A temporary custom size can be assigned to a media without having to add the new size to the Size Catalog. You can override the Size ID defined by the media catalog entry and assign a temporary custom size to the media without reprocessing the job. Other media-related attributes defined in the media catalog entry are retained as is.

Note:

To specify a temporary custom size, a media catalog entry must be assigned to the job and the Custom option must be available in the Size ID menu.

Not all Fiery servers support this feature.

Select a job and do one of the following:
- Click Properties in the Actions menu.
- Right-click the job and select Properties.
- Click the Properties icon in the Job Center toolbar.
- Double-click the job.
In the Job Properties window, click the Media tab on the left.
From the Media Catalog list, assign a media catalog entry to the job.
Note: The Size ID field is enabled when a media catalog entry is assigned to the job.
From the Size ID list, select Custom. The Media size field is enabled.
In the Media size field, click Custom and specify the custom size dimensions for the media. The custom size dimensions are displayed in the Media size list.
Note: Custom size dimensions are temporary and will not reflect in the list of sizes defined in the Size Catalog.
