Substitute colors
The Substitute Colors feature is used to map a color in a job to a different color in the printed job.
Color substitutions affect only text, vector graphics, and line art. They have no effect on raster images.
When a color is defined as a substitute color, the settings for an RGB color (such as RGB source) or CMYK color (such as CMYK source) have no effect. The color is converted with a process similar to spot color conversion.
Substitute colors are not supported for CMYK+ color mode and associated output profiles.
Using the Substitute Colors feature involves the following tasks:
Configure the substitute color values in Command WorkStation.
Print a document with the Substitute colors print option turned on.
