Change presets for print jobs
You can choose a different preset to apply to all jobs. You can also edit or rename a preset, delete a local preset, or revert to the default preset.
You work with presets in the Job Properties window. To display it, double-click a job in the Held or Printed queue, or select the job and click the Properties toolbar icon in Job Center.
Choose a different preset
You can change the current set of print options to another preset for a job.
- Right-click to select Apply Workflow, and then choose a preset.
- Right-click to select Properties. In the Job Properties window, under Presets, select a different preset.
- Click , and then choose a preset.
The preset is used until you select another one, or make further changes to Job Properties.
Edit a preset
A preset includes most print options that you set in the Job Properties window. You can override a setting in the Job Properties window after choosing a preset.
- Apply a preset to a job, then edit the settings as required and click Save as preset. Type the same preset name as before, and select local or server preset.
- In Edit. Make the required changes in the Job Properties window and then close to save the changes. , select the preset from the list, and click
Delete a Local Preset
You can delete a local preset with the Manage Local Presets feature in the Job Properties window.
- In the Job Properties window, under Presets, select Manage Local Presets.
- Select a preset and click Delete.
Rename a preset
You can rename a local preset with the Manage Local Presets feature in the Job Properties window.
- In the Job Properties window, under Presets, select Manage Local Presets.
- Select a preset and click Rename.
- Enter a descriptive name for the preset and click Save.
Revert to the default preset
You can apply the default preset to a job to revert the print options to the default settings of the Fiery server. You can apply the current defaults as configured by the Administrator with Set Defaults or Factory Default (previously known as Printer's Default).
- To apply the current server default settings in the Job Properties window, under Presets, select Default.
- To apply the factory default settings in the Job Properties window, under Presets, select Factory Default.
