When you do not select an option for Trap object types, only the trapping of objects (text and graphics) against objects is applied. To apply trapping to images, use the settings under Trap object types.

1. In Device Center, click Trapping under Color Setup.
2. Under Trap object types, select any of the following:

   • Trap Objects to Images - Trapping is applied to boundary areas between objects and images.

   • Trap Images Internally - Trapping is applied to every individual pixel of an image. This option is available only when you select Trap Objects to Images.
