Back up or restore Fiery server settings
You can back up or restore Fiery server settings from Configure or from Command WorkStation.
Note: The Restore Fiery Settings and Restore Default
Fiery Settings option are not available for every Fiery server.
Back up Fiery server settings from Configure
From Configure, you can choose which Fiery server settings you want to back up.
- From Configure, choose .
- Follow the on-screen instructions to back up your settings.
Back up Fiery server settings from Command WorkStation
From Command WorkStation, you can choose which Fiery server settings you want to back up.
- Connect to the desired Fiery server and do one of the
following:

- Click Backup.
- Select the items you want to back up.
- In the dialog box that appears, select a location to save the file and specify a name for the backup file.
- (Optional) Select Add date to file name.
- Click Next, and then click Finish.
Restore Fiery server settings from Configure
If you previously backed up Fiery server settings, you can restore them from Configure.
- From Configure, choose .
- Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your settings.
Restore Fiery server default settings from Configure
After you restore default settings from Configure, the Fiery server must reboot to revert to them.
Note: The information in this topic applies only to
the Integrated Fiery server.
- From Configure, choose .
- Click the Restore Default Fiery Settings button.
Restore Fiery server settings from Command WorkStation
If you previously backed up Fiery server settings, you can restore them from Command WorkStation.
- Connect to the desired Fiery server and do one of the
following:

- Click Restore.
- In the dialog box that appears, browse to the location of the configuration settings you want to restore and click Open or select a recent backup.
- Click Next and select the items you want to restore.
- Click Next, and then click Finish.
- After the restore operation is complete, reboot the Fiery server if you are prompted.
