3D Viewer displays a 3D model of the full color gamuts of reference and sample. You can rotate the 3D model to check for colors outside the color gamut of the reference. You can also see exactly where any selected L*a*b* color is projected to in the reference color gamut.
- In the Verifier
program window, click the Color space tab.
- Click the appropriate button to display 3D Viewer.
- Drag the 3D model to rotate it (optional).
- Click the appropriate button to display an enlarged view of 3D Viewer with additional settings (optional).
In the enlarged 3D view, you can do the following:
Make general settings pertaining to how Verifier displays the reference and sample color gamuts
Reset the rotation angle
View where an L*a*b* color is projected to in the
reference color gamut. Select Enable projection, click
Projection Point, and then type an L*a*b* value in the
dialog box. Verifier maps out-of-gamut colors to their nearest point on
the edge of the available color gamut.
