Some of the calibration features that are related to color are not available for black-and-white printing. With a single colorant, calibration can be simpler.

For black-and-white printing:

• Output profiles and calibration settings are not selectable.
• You cannot view calibration measurements (curves) or print a test page.
• You cannot export or import measurement data. You cannot import the calibration target.
• Only the EFI spectrophotometer is supported as a measurement method, with a single patch layout. ColorCal is not supported.
