To create a calibration, enter a name and other details, as required.

1. Type a calibration name of your choice.
   Note: The calibration name should be unique for each server. The name you type must not already be used by a calibration setting or profile on the server.
2. Select Color mode.
3. (Optional) Click Settings to change the setting for Use existing calibration for Job Properties (Read-only).

   You can update the calibration properties in the Job Properties window.

4. (Optional) Select G7 calibration options.
5. (Optional) Choose from one of the following calibration targets:
   • Select G7 gray balance calibration.

     G7 calibration adjusts the color output of a printer to the G7 specification, using measurement data from a specific G7 target (patch page).

   • Select G7+ gray balance calibration.

     After selecting G7+ gray balance calibration, you can optionally select the High density smoothing check box.

     When a density value of 2.2 or more is achieved, the High Density Smoothing feature can help minimize banding and improve calibration. Using the feature with a density value of 2.2 or less may produce unexpected results in the output.

   Note: To use G7 and G7+ gray balance calibration, Fiery Color Profiler Suite must be installed and licensed. The option is otherwise grayed out.
6. (Optional) Select Specialty color over CMYK mode.
7. (Optional) Select Specialty color under CMYK mode.

   To calibrate CMYK only for a printer with two specialty colors, select both Specialty color over CMYK mode and Specialty color under CMYK mode.

8. Click Next.
