Your computer downloads a license from the Internet.
If the computer has no Internet connection, you can download the
license from another computer and move it to the computer that has
Color Profiler Suite installed.
Note: You can use the Konica Minolta FD-5BT
spectrodensitometer in place of the EFI ES-2000 spectrophotometer as a dongle and as a measurement
instrument. Contact your EFI representative for more information about this instrument and
license.
To download the Color Profiler Suite license, you
must have the EFI ES-2000 serial number or License Activation Code.
The EFI ES-2000 serial number is a 7-digit number
on the EFI ES-2000 cradle and is part of the serial number on the
EFI ES-2000 instrument.
The License Activation Code is on the license card
in the Color Profiler Suite media pack.
- Do one of the following:
- After the EFI License Fulfillment page opens,
enter the EFI ES-2000 serial number or the License Activation Code, and then click Submit.
Note: If you use the EFI IS-2000 serial number, enter only the
7-digit string shown on the cradle. Omit the other numbers that
are part of the serial number on the instrument.
- Do one of the following:
Save to File -
Saves the license to the specified location.
Note: The license
file must be on the desktop for activation to occur. After activation,
Color Profiler Suite copies the file to a location on your hard
disk.
View License File -
Lets you view the license file, and then save it or send it in an
e-mail message.
Send by email to -
Sends the license to the email address you enter. (This is useful
if you want to use Color Profiler Suite on another computer.)
- If you want to use Color Profiler Suite on a computer
that has no Internet connection, copy the license file to portable
media and then copy the license file to the other computer’s desktop.
