System Update lets you schedule regular inquiries to an update server on the
Internet for available Fiery server updates. The Fiery server checks automatically for updates by contacting an update
server periodically over the Internet.
Note: This feature may not be supported on all Fiery servers.
System Update can notify you when
updates are available. Notification is provided on the Fiery server
control panel and the monitor connected to the Fiery server (if
supported).
- From Configure, choose .
- Select Enable System
Updates.
- Specify when the Fiery server should contact the update
server.
- If supported, choose a method for updating the
Fiery server system software (Fiery System Updates) and utility
software (Fiery Application Updates):
Note: The following options are not available on the Integrated Fiery server. Availability may also vary depending on the Fiery server.

been downloaded is sent. After the updates are downloaded, they must be installed manually.
Send notification when updates are
available - Displays a message on the Fiery server when
new updates are available. You must retrieve and install the updates.
