Patch measurement
You can compare newly measured color patches to printed color patches.
Make sure your supported handheld measurement
instrument is connected to your computer.

To compare printed color patches, do one of the following:
- Click File > New comparison.
- Load measurements from a color reference file or a sample file.
- Click Comparison > Start patch measurement.
- Follow the on-screen calibration instructions to calibrate your measurement instrument.
- Click Measurement mode to select your preferred measurement mode.
- Click Calibrate.
- Click a row in the Reference or Sample to place your color measurement.
- Place the measurement instrument over the color patch you want to measure.

Scan the color patch with the measurement instrument.
Fiery Verify automatically compares the measured patch values to the values listed under the Reference or Sample columns and display the results.
- Click Stop measurement after all patches have been measured.
