Connect a Fiery XF-driven printer to the Fiery IQ cloud

You can connect a Fiery XF-driven printer to the Fiery IQ cloud to access Fiery ColorGuard features.

Before you begin, ensure the Fiery XF server is connected to the internet in order to connect Fiery XF-driven printers to Fiery IQ.

To avoid connection issues, configure your Fiery XF server with a fixed IP address. The following IP addresses cannot be used because Fiery IQ will fail to connect to the Fiery XF server: 127.x.x.x, localhost, 192.168.x.x, and 10.10.100.1.

Click the Fiery IQ icon (cloud) in the Command WorkStation sidebar.
Click Get Started.
Sign in with your Fiery Account.
Note: The Fiery Account must be connected to a company account.

Click the toggle button next to the Fiery XF server to connect the Fiery XF server to Fiery IQ.
Click Next.

Connecting the Fiery XF server and the associated printers to Fiery IQ will take a few minutes. The Fiery XF server connects to Fiery IQ first, followed by connections to all printers connected to the Fiery XF server. You can click the arrow to view the connection status of each printer. Printers with a green check mark have successfully connected to Fiery IQ.

After all printers are connected to Fiery IQ, you can access Fiery ColorGuard by clicking Go to Fiery ColorGuard.

Note: If your print environment includes Fiery-driven and Fiery XF-driven printers, click Fiery IQ Dashboard, then click Fiery ColorGuard.
