Select a light or dark theme in Fiery FreeForm Create

Fiery FreeForm Create offers a full dark theme that reduces eye strain in low-light environments and matches the appearance of your operating system and other design tools. You can choose a light theme, a dark theme, or let the application follow your system appearance automatically.

Dark and light mode switching requires:

Fiery FreeForm Create 2.5 or later
macOS 13.0 or later, or Windows 10 64-bit or later

The theme selector lets you set the application appearance to Light, Dark, or System. The setting applies to the entire application interface, including menus, toolbars, panels, dialogs, property inspectors, and context menus.

In Fiery FreeForm Create open Preferences.
Locate the theme selector and choose one of the following options:
- Light: Displays the standard light interface.
- Dark: Displays a dark interface across all application surfaces.
- System: Matches the current operating system appearance setting automatically.
  Note: When set to System the application updates its theme dynamically whenever the operating system appearance changes, without requiring a restart.
Background: You can select one of the six color options to customize the background gradient of the home screen.
Close Preferences The selected theme takes effect immediately.
Note:
Switching themes does not alter, recolor, or otherwise affect your document content or print output.

The selected theme persists across application sessions. The next time you open Fiery FreeForm Create, the previously selected theme is restored automatically.
