Examine the results of combining variable and master documents in the file merge workflow before you save or print.

1. Create or open a file merge design.
2. Click Preview.
3. Use the control bar at the bottom of the Preview window to navigate through the pages of the file merge design by record or by page. Use the Previous record and Next record arrow buttons to navigate to the previous or next record.
   Note: You can right-click the page navigation bar to open the context menu, then select Floating or Docked to the bottom to customize the position of the toolbar in your workspace. With the toolbar set to Floating, press on the button and drag to move the control bar. Fiery FreeForm Create automatically saves your preference when you float or dock the page footer toolbar, and retains the position when you restart the application.
4. Examine the preview. Click to zoom in and to zoom out.
